H.S. and College Level Tutoring We offer one on one tutoring for students in High School and College. Private one-hour sessions provide a quiet environment with an individualized curriculum for each student. Some autistic adults find that transitioning to college level work from high school is more difficult than they expected. LJFC understands the differences that occur when moving from secondary education to higher education. Communication with faculty, planning with semester-long syllabi, maintaining motivation to study, and working with classmates can be understood with guidance. All tutoring currently is conducted by Lisa J. Friedrich, Ph.D. who has 15 years of experience in the college classroom. This program is structured to enhance the student's confidence, skill, and ability to test favorably in:
Presentation Programs We offer multiple on-site presentation programs for a variety of settings. One of our purposes at LJFC is educational awareness of the realities of Autism Spectrum Differences. Life Coaching "One of the most important aspects of consulting is building a relationship with each client. I believe that no one will care how much I know unless they know how much I care. Autistic adults are some of the most interesting, genuine, and amazing people I've met in my life. Sometimes the details of day to day reality can be difficult to understand and accomplish. No amount of lecturing, criticizing, or dismissing can help. Patience, modeling, and 24/7 availability can mean so much." Lisa J.
